Dakini Jayanti

An in-person immersion in Dakini presence. The first was held in Sweden in 2026, and we gather again each year.

What is Dakini Jayanti?

Dakini Jayanti is the manifestation day of the first primordial Dakini, the living awakened feminine force of Shakti in Siddha Dharma. It always falls on Apara Ekadashi, a sacred timing each year, a night when the boundary between worlds grows thin and Dakini presence becomes especially accessible through direct experience.

Once a year we step away from the screen and gather in physical presence to invoke her and remain in that presence together, through mantra, meditation, movement, yoga and pranayama, fire ceremonies and seva, service for the land. The practices unfold in their own rhythm, guided by subtle signs and the readiness of the group.

The first time we gathered

In 2026 we held the first Dakini Jayanti in Sweden. Around 20 people came from across the world to sit by the fire, move together and invoke Dakini over three days. This is what it was like.

What happens during these days

Something the Siddhas have long done in the mystic Himalayas takes place here, with the protection of the local deities, prayers to the gods of the land, and the grace of Dakini and the Siddha Gurus. This is Siddha Tantra shamanism, a sacred invocation, rarely witnessed in this way. Across the days together we:

  • Invoke Dakini and sit together in her presence

  • Move in the Siddha Shamanic Fire Dance

  • Sing bhajans and mystic songs, chant mantras, practise mudra and meditation

  • Practise yoga and pranayama

  • Offer to fire, water and the elements, and when the weather and the moment allow, to the lake

  • Do seva, caring for the land and honouring the local Shaktis

  • Cook and prepare the grounds together, inside and out

Three days held in invoked Dakini presence. Each person becomes a vessel, to their own capacity, within the mandala of invocation. The ignition we create together becomes a service not only for those present, but for many seekers around the world.

Where we gather

The place is chosen anew each time, guided by Dakini sensitivities, the spiritual current of the lineage and the group that gathers. It is somewhere resonant, best suited for the practices and celebrations.

The first gathering was held at a quiet lakeside retreat outside Stockholm, with a nature reserve, fireplaces and a sauna, the kind of humble setting where nothing stands between you and the rituals. Wherever it falls, it will be reachable and we will guide you there once registration opens.

Who can join,
and how to prepare

Dakini Jayanti opens to those who have walked the Atma Bhava Mudra journey with us first. That foundation prepares the inner space, deepens bhava and perception and builds the subtle readiness needed to meet in physical presence and take part in the rituals. We hold this journey once or twice a year in the lead-up to each gathering.

It opens only at certain times, so the way to be ready is to be in touch with us and already walking with us when it does. Begin with the Daak so you hear the moment it opens and meanwhile practice with us in our courses and weekly Satsang. Those already journeying with us are the first to be invited.

Until we gather again

Dakini Jayanti returns each year on Apara Ekadashi. The fire is never far, it burns in our practice through the whole year. If something in you stirred reading this, that is worth trusting. Stay close, keep walking with us, and those already journeying with us will be the first to hear when she calls us together again.
