Swedish Bhairavi Says: “Tests, Trials & Tribulations”

In Tantra, there are tests, trials and tribulations and they happen in the midst of everything else that is going on in your day-to-day. They are part of intricate systems at play, subtle, natural and precise, but not always graspable by the ordinary mind.

One can describe the test-phenomenon as moments of high stakes which are not announced beforehand so you can prepare. They can happen in the street, in a casual conversation, in the way you behave, in the decisions you make, in how you act, or don’t act. The setup appears in whatever constellation is best suited to reveal your sanskars, your tendencies and your current state. And if you do not have the grasping power, the awareness to recognize it, the test might pass unacknowledged and the moment, along with its potential, will be gone.

One can indeed say that the whole life is an ongoing test and that all one’s actions are being calculated instantaneously, all the time. But in addition to that, there are some high-stakes occasions that define, open, or close a certain path.

You can see it as if, at certain confluences of reality, one is met by a checkpoint door. There one presents one’s current key. And depending on that key, what lies behind the door, the path you inevitably enter, will vary.

Most people won’t even know what they missed out on. The worlds... the realms... the blessings...

A seasoned Tantra practitioner will feel the sharpness in the moment of the test, the vibrations, the watching gaze of well wishers like the subtle love and blessings of Shakti or Gurus helping the practitioner align to make the most eloquently refined “test submission”. Gurus can see what was possible for you, and what you did that led to either the evolution or stagnation of your journey.

But failing a test is not a catastrophe in and of itself. Life does not intend to punish you or similar. Life is beyond the judgement of good and bad, it is just a system, a law of nature and creation. Just like in physics and chemistry certain rules, forms and equations are present. The earth continues to turn, the wind still moves through the trees, and the sun will most probably rise again tomorrow.

If there is not a deliberate punishment and the world will continue anyways, why try to do anything at all? Why not just go with the inertia?

To become dissolved in creation, your desires need to dissolve.

And if your desires are not dissolved and you are not doing deliberate efforts to develop, you wait life time after life time until life either bang’s you around or smoothly ushers you gracefully towards realization.

As a human with emotions, senses and judgements it is almost impossible to be indifferent to life and its happenings as one is a more complex constitution than for example a stone. Life in the constitution of a human, which is also shakti, prana, was created and birthed due to human desires and has certain desires to fulfill.

Perhaps some of you, if not most of you who are in contact with us are feeling like many of the ordinary desires have actually been fulfilled and you have come to a state where you feel like you want to refine your understanding of reality. Perhaps you even want to go all the way..

If so, then you need to increase your grasping power, and you need to do the work. So that next time, you don’t miss the moment. So that next time, you’re refined and awake enough to walk through the door, into the best possible world that’s waiting.

If you are here, reading this, it means something in you has already begun to sense the deeper rhythms, the hidden alignments beneath the mundane. And this course, Vajra Dhyana: Maha Nara Khechara Meditations, has been crafted for precisely these kinds of refinements.

It is a mental and energetic bootcamp. Four weeks of self-inflicted trials, tests and training.

It starts with grāhya-tā, the power to grasp. Because without that, without the strength and sharpness of perception, you won’t catch what is being offered in Tantra.

This course is about increasing your eligibility by making your mind your own again. It’s about breaking free from your unconscious repetitions, from the sludge of forgetfulness and laziness that keeps your mind dull and scattered.

It’s about remembering your Shakti, your Vajra nature, unshakable, luminous, capable of piercing illusion.

We’ll be here with you. And those of you who’ve done courses with us before already know: We are here, fully. And we walk the walk.

So join and come ride this wave.

And talking about the tests and training reminds me of all the other areas in life where it is normal to practice and test one self to evolve. It is common knowledge that a boxer, before the actual match, trains with many fellow boxers. They choose to see their own capabilities, to see their weak points and their strengths. They practice and experience how it is to win, how it is to fail, how to be the best and how to accept being the worst.

A Siddha mind sees opportunity and play in the challenge and knows that any project or action can be refined if practiced. They know the source of infinite creation where all can be sourced from. Dakini shakti takes power from the tamasic punch to the ego and decides to keep going, endure, find ways to burn the hinderances and come out blooming, evolving.

In addition to all this that I write, now with the Vajra Dhyana course starting, I want to tell the softer perhaps artistic participants, perhaps sensitive creatures who trained themselves to not be so ”heady”, not so logical, not so sharp and ”boxed-in”, maybe you never liked systems and structured approaches, maybe didn’t like maths and the nonsense tests and exams of school environments.

Some of the practices will feel absolutely intriguing, uplifting, even hitting the chord with good flow. But certain practices, where you are not immediately skilled, you might feel triggered and you might want to close off and retreat in stand-off mode and not even touch it because it makes you feel inadequate.

That is the time to invoke the Dam beej in Dakinis, the grit and acceptance of your state and walk through the self-inflicted symbolic fire. There is a lot of power and heightened self-efficacy in that. Practice through the percieved up-hill and dare to challenge yourself and thus force your mind to evolve.

If you have evolved this much, surely you can evolve more. And it’s not only about your current state, it can also be about the speed with which you evolve a certain distance. Someone might be steadily great or gifted from this birth and another might be below average at the start of this birth and all of a sudden jolt up to the stars due to past life sanskar.

Try it out brave souls.

Looking forward to practice with you.

With Love,
